Columbian Bank Main; Topeka. This facility had inflated utility
bills and very nearly no controls other than off and on. The boiler
and chiller system is old but still has plenty of efficient life
remaining. The EPM C.T.C. (Computerized Temperature Control) system was a
welcome alternative to the bid for replacement of the mechanical
equipment.
Bank management hired EPM, Inc. for the purpose of installing a CTC system.
The installation was made during the heating season beginning
October 16th. It was shortly thereafter completed and certified by EPM's
Senior Engineer Jim Johnson.
There is every reason to believe this bank will realize the estimated
consumption savings of 19.94%,and internal rate of return of 24.11%. The
payback is estimated at 49 months. |
